About me
My name’s James and I’m a 21-year-old filmmaker And Photographer based in the UK, Having recently Completed my Degree in Film PRODUCTION AT ARTS UNIVERSITY BOURNEMOUTH.
I HAVE SPENT THE LAST THREE YEARS WORKING ON STUDENT PRODUCTIONS AND ON PROFESSIONAL SETS, IN ROLES ALL ACROSS THE CAMERA AND LIGHTING DEPARTMENT, BUILDING EXPERIENCE and DEMONSTRATING A TALENT FOR LIGHTING, LEADING A CREW, AND STORYTELLING THAT SELLS. I AM NOW WORKING FULL-TIME ONSET IN THE CAMERA AND LIGHTING DEPARTMENT. I Intend to become a Successful Cinematographer.
ALONGSIDE MY PROFESSIONAL FILMMAKING CAREER I HAVE AN ENDURING PASSION FOR street photography. My work explores the intersection of human stories with the artificial spaces we create, taking a modern, globalised perspective. Through my work, I want to question the meaning of borders and the constructed nature of the nation-state by observing the universal patterns of human behaviour, while celebrating the cultural idiosyncrasies that make us distinct.
